Whiskers Deep Rose Gaura

Whiskers Deep Rose Appleblossom Grass (Gaura lindheimeri Whiskers Deep Rose PP26,399) is a very beautiful new Gaura cultivar. This compact grower has showy burgundy foliage and a profusion of deep pink flowers beginning in late spring and continuing all summer. Excellent for use in containers or in the front of the perennial border, ‘Whiskers Deep Rose’ is quite different from the tall white-flowered plants most commonly seen in the trade. Plant it in full, hot sun in garden loam for best performance. Leave standing over the winter months to improve its cold hardiness. Gaura is also commonly known as Wand Flower and Beeblossom.
