Red Hobbit Columbine

12-14″ tall x 12″ wide. A delightful addition to the semi-shade border, ‘Red Hobbit’ is a dwarf Danish selection with eye-catching red and white flowers. Hybridized from our native Rocky Mt. Columbine, it tolerates a wide range of growing conditions. We’ve found it does best in western gardens with compost-enriched soil with regular irrigation. This stable hybrid comes true to color when reseeding in the garden, unlike many other hybrid varieties. (seed propagated)
