Lacy Blue Russian Sage (Perovskia atriplicifolia Lacey Blue) is a true dwarf cultivar discovered in an English garden and just recently introduced to the US. Its smaller size makes it very useful when space is an issue and a smaller version of Russian Sage is required. Drought resistant/drought tolerant plant (xeric).
Description
18-24″ tall x 24-36″ wide. At last, the first truly short growing selection of Russian Sage, ‘Lacey Blue’ is half the height of ‘Blue Spires’ and fits into small spaces. Just grow it hot and dry once established. Most soil types including clay. Cut back entire plant back to 12” – 15” in spring (not in the fall) Good for Firescaping. Plant with Agastache, Achillea, Penstemon.
