Gros Bleu French Lavender

Lavandula intermedia ‘Gros Bleu’ is a compact growing French hybrid Lavender for smaller gardens. The plant blooms in mid-summer with gracefully thin, tapered flower heads with dark indigo-blue calyxes and lavender flowers. The flowers have a very sweet, long lasting fragrance. When grown in full sun, the plant has distinctive silver-gray foliage that turns a distinctive Lavender color in winter. It’s flower spikes are re-blooming, so don’t deadhead ‘Gros Bleu’ until the first frosts of fall
